Advocacy Program:
The Arc is an advocate for full citizenship rights and for the well-being of people with disabilities. The Arc also serves as an educator and researcher for citizens to learn about developmental disability issues.

Residential Program:
The Arc Residential Program began in 1987. The Arc believes each individual can live within the community with a support system. Each individual expresses their preferences, values and interests. Each person is encouraged to try new experiences and to live their to the fullest within their community.

Guardianship Program:
The Arc started their corporate Guardianship Program in 1990. The Arc helps individuals manage their financial, medical and legal concerns. All services are monitored annually by the court. The Arc maintains each ward's interests and visits regularly.

Respite Program:
The Arc also provides temporary respite care to people with developmental disabilities at their Woodridge building location. The Arc provides staff in a home-away-from-home atmosphere.
