Mission of the Residential Program:
The Arc Residential Program provides tailored living opportunities for persons with disabilities throughout the Dunn County area. The home settings foster independence and encourage a consumer-based chosen lifestyle. This lifestyle provides opportunities and maximizes active participation in events and activities that occur within the local community.

The Arc Residential Program has contracts with Human Service Departments to place adults who are cognitively disabled in a variety of settings in the Dunn County area. Consumers live within homes or apartments that range from one to four bedrooms.

Training and Support provided to develop skills in:
Meal planning and preparation
Personal care
Medical
Bathing and dressing
Participation in community events
Leisure skills
Health and medical services
Family and friend relationships
Communication and social skills

The Arc works with the following agencies:
House Calls (personal care and financial services)
Lutheran Social Services (community skills training)
Dunn & Barron County Human Services (case management and supported employment)
Indianhead Enterprises and REACH (employment and training)
Menomonie Recreation and Special Olympics
